2012년 레진상완전틀니 급여화를 시작으로, 2013년 7월 치석제거(나.전악), 급여 부분틀니, 2014년 7월 치과임플란트가 급여화되면서 요양급여비용 증가에 큰 비중을 차지하고 있습니다. 2015년 7월 금속상완전틀니가 급여 적용되었고, 2016년 급여 임플란트와 틀니 대상 연령이 65세까지 확대, 2017년 치면열구전색술, 급여 틀니 본인부담금 인하, 2018년 7월 임플란트 본인부담금 인하 등 계속적으로 보장성이 확대되고 있습니다. 2019년 12세 이하 광중합협 복합레진 충전도 급여화된 후 2020년에 좀더 구체화되었으며, 근관치료 기준 또한 확대되었고, 21년에는 COVID-19 바이러스의 확산세로 인해 의료급여 급여틀니 대상자들의 방문 신청으로 진행되었던 등록절차가 간소화되었으며, 신의료기술로 등재되었던 정량광형광기를 이용한 치아우식증 검사항목이 6월에 신설되었습니다. 그리고 2022년에는 치면세마, 치은절제술 등의 급여 기준 변경사항이 많았는데, 그중 C형 근관에 대한 수가가 개선되면서 급여기준이 신설되었습니다. 작년에는 3차 상대가치점수 제도가 개정되었고, 개정사항에 요양기관 종별 가산율이 정비되면서 15% 축소되었습니다. 15% 였던 의원급 요양기관 종별가산이 ‘0%’가 되었고, 대신 상대가치점수가 15% 인상되었습니다.
